Everton will offer free ticket to Ukranian refugees

Everton and Dynamo Kyiv will meet in Goodison Park in a week.

Everton

are planning to give free tickets to Ukrainian refugees who have traveled to Merseyside for a pre-season friendly against

Dynamo Kyiv

.

This meeting is part of the program of meetings of the Ukrainian team for the development of peace, and the proceeds were supposed to be spent on people who were affected by Russia's attack on Ukraine.

The Toffees, who signed Vitaly Mykolenko from Dynamo in the January transfer window, paid £500,000 to a Ukrainian charity in March, and have now gone a step further by offering free tickets to Ukrainian fans for the game.

The match will be held on July 29 and the club is coordinating with the surrounding Merseyside councils to get tickets to the refugees.

"We are committed to doing all we can to help those people impacted by the shocking war in Ukraine.

"This game provides a spotlight on that fundraising activity and by raising funds together, we can help those affected by the ongoing conflict."
