Arsenal is 'finalizing' Oleksandr Zinchenko's £30m transfer

The four-time Premier League champion is likely to join Arsenal.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

is about to join

Arsenal

after

Manchester City

accepted a £30 million ($36 million) offer for the

Ukraine

international. The 26-year-old has also agreed to personal terms on a four-year deal with the Gunners, who could pay an extra £2m in add-ons.

Zinchenko is in Houston with City on a preseason tour, but he will have a medical before the move. Arsenal hopes that he will be able to finish the deal this week and join the team in the US.

Mikel Arteta

is the manager of the Arsenal team. He worked with Zinchenko as Pep Guardiola's assistant coach at the Etihad Stadium.

The 25-year-old has spent most of his career as a left-back, but he will give Arsenal more options in midfield and give Kieran Tierney a replacement.

Zinchenko made the same move as

Gabriel Jesus

earlier in the window. He has a winning attitude and has been a big part of City's four Premier League titles in the past five years.

He has also shown that he is a good leader, especially for his national team. He can bring a winning attitude back to a club that wants to get back into the Champions League.
