Arsenal’s Ballard still has many suiters despite Burnley move failure

Charles Watts has said that Daniel Ballard will depart the Gunners in the summer notwithstanding his transfer collapsing.

Although many speculations regarding

Arsenal

are about incomings now, the club are also keen on cashing in on some players.

The centre-back,

Daniel Ballard

, was one of the players set to go out the exit door and join

Burnley

, but they failed to reach an agreement, as per reports from The Athletic.

Charles Watt, however, talked on his own YouTube channel and revealed that a move may still be on the table for the player.

He said:

“As of right now, he’s not going to be going to Burnley, which is a real shame. He’s going to get a move, no doubt about it, there’s so many interested clubs.

“They had to turn down clubs because he chose Burnley, so he’s just going to go out onto the market again now. And he will get a club, and a really good club, and Arsenal will get the same sort of deal for him.”

Ballard featured for Millwall in the Championship in the previous season, and was a mainstay in the squad, playing for 30 minutes before he had to be dropped out due to a knee injury.

He pulled off an impressive display while playing on loan, with Burnley becoming keen on acquiring his services. Although they could not reach an agreement, Ballard is not short of options.

Sunderland are also eager to making a deal with the 22-year-old, as per reports from journalist Alan Nixon (via FootballFancast).
