Crystal Palace in pole position to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka on loan

Crystal Palace is the frontrunner to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka on loan this summer.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

's career at

Manchester United

stalled badly last season. He only played 26 times in competitions because of injuries and bad play.

His luck got worse when

Ralf Rangnic

k took over as interim manager of the Red Devils in the middle of the season. The German is thought to have suggested that United move the player on.

And 90min knows that Wan-Bissaka could be moving this summer, even if it's just for a short time. United is willing to let him go on loan this summer, and his old team, Palace, is in the best position to get him.

Jose Mourinho

wanted to bring Wan-Bissaka to Roma, but the Serie A team has decided to go after right-back Zeki Celik from Lille instead. I Giallorossi is no longer in the running, so Palace is now the favorite to sign a player they sold to United for nearly £50 million in 2019.

Wan-Bissaka could be the next player to leave United this summer. Jesse Lingard,

Nemanja Matic

,

Paul Pogba

, and Juan Mata are some of the others who have already left. At the same time, at Selhurst Park, Palace are trying to do more than just sign Wan-Bissaka.

The Eagles are also close to signing goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, according to a recent report by 90min. Johnstone has been a great player for West Brom for the past four years, but his contract is up at the end of the month, so he could leave for free.
