Roma close to signing Lille’s Celik and made an offer for Aouar
The Giallorossi are on the verge of penning a contract with Lille’s Mehmet Zeki Celik and offering €20m for Houssem Aouar.

Calciomeracto.com, the Giallorossi are on the verge of penning a contract with Mehmet Zeki Celik from Lille. The Turkish player will be a backup option for Rick Karsdorp and he has reached a personal agreement with the club, who are close to finalizing a deal with the club.
Lille are on also interested in acquiring the services of Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout and may start negotiating for a different deal from the one that sees Celik join Roma. Ex-Roma coach Paulo Fonseca is among the candidates to take over the
Ligue 1side and should the Portuguese be appointed, the deal will most likely be completed.
Aouar might replace the Frenchman at the Stadio Olimpico and according to reports from
Sport.fr, the Giallorossi have offered €20m for the Lyon star. However, the French club demands more for the player.
The club will also keep tabs on Davide Frattesi as both he and Aouar might join the Stadio Olimpico, with Amadou Diawara and Ebrima Darboe on the verge of departing the club.
