Maldini calls Ancelotti to know Asensio’s availability this summer
Paolo Maldini has contacted Carlo Ancelotti to see whether Marco Asensio is available in the summer or not.
As per reports from Il Corriere dello Sport carried by Football Italia,
Milanare keen on acquiring the services of
Marco Asensio
from
Real Madridand they are the favorites to land him. Arsenal and Manchester United are also eyeing the Spaniard.
The player’s deal is due to expire in 2023 and it is unlikely that he will pen a new contract as Fede Valverde and Rodrygo Goes are ahead of him in the pecking order at Real Madrid.
Milan are eager to bring in a new winger in the summer and Asensio is among their targets.
Carlo Ancelotti appears willing to let Asensio, who has shined in their 2-0 win over the Czech Republic last night, depart the club on a deal worth between €30-35m.
The Rossoneri, who won the Serie A title this season, do not plan to put all their eggs in one basket.
