Southampton join the suitors of RB Salzburg’s Adamu

Southampton have joined Leeds United and West Ham United in the competition for the RB Salzburg striker’s signature, as per reports from Sky Deutschland, via Sport Witness.

Many believe that

Junior Adamu

has already attracted the attention of Hertha Berlin, Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig, received interest from

Premier League

clubs as well.

The Austria international’s deal with

RB Salzburg

will keep him until 2025 but he may depart in the summer for €10m.

He has featured in 43 games and met the back of the net nine times, contributing five assists for his side, who made it to the Champions League last 16. He also met the target against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the clash which came down to 1-1 draw before Bayern thrashed them to a 7-1 victory in the second leg.

The 21-year-old is going to be on the wish list of Ralph Hasenhuttl as Armando Broja will return to

Chelsea

.

As per reports,

Southampton

are eager to bring him back to St. Mary’s. However, they have to pay a fee around £20m and £30m.
