Donnarumma is fit to play after suffering finger injury versus Germany

Gianluigi Donnarumma's finger injury is apparently not significant, and he should be ready to play against Hungary, according to reports from Italy's training facility.

When he sought to fingertip the ball off the head of Antonio Rudiger in the dying stages of Sunday night's 1-1 stalemate with

Germany

at the Stadio Dall'Ara in Bologna, the PSG goalkeeper was injured.

There were worries he had dislocated his left hand's little finger, which was seen strapped down after the match.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Donnarumma's newest news is that testing revealed no severe harm.

He should be available for the match against

Hungary

in the Nations League on Tuesday night in Cesena because it was only a minor sprain.

In his news conference,

Italy

boss Roberto Mancini made a joke about the issue: “Donnarumma still has nine good fingers, so he’ll be fine.”
