Eddie Nketiah will remain put at Arsenal

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Eddie Nketiah is keen on staying put at the Gunners and will put pen to paper for a long-term deal.

is interested in signing a new contract at

Arsenal

and has turned down offers from

Bundesliga

and

Premier League

clubs. However, he has not yet penned a contract with the Gunners.

He has changed his mind about departing the Gunners and is close to signing a contract. His deal is set to be up to five years in length but it has yet to be finalized. The 22-year-old’s deal is due to expire in the summer and many believed he would leave the north London club.

Clubs like Crystal Palace and many others were keen on penning with him but he will now remain put at Arsenal.

The 22-year-old had his debut in September 2017. He then spent a half season at Leeds on a loan deal before coming back to establish himself under the reign of Mikel Arteta.

The England Under-21 international has made his way to Arteta’s starting XI. He ended the season with five goals in the last seven matches in the Premier League.
