Juventus won’t make Morata loan permanent

Spanish forward Alvaro Morata'a future in Juventus is uncertain, according to reports in Spain.

According to Marca,

Juventus

have been negotiating with

Atletico Madrid

over

Alvaro Morata

in recent months and has told them they will not be exercising their option to purchase the forward.

Morata joined Juve from Atletico two years ago on a loan deal and Juventus can make the move permanent if they pay €35m but they are not willing to pay this amount.

Bianconeri wants to buy Morata but Atletico is not reducing their asking price so far. Marca claims Atletico has no intention of keeping hold of Morata.

 Morata was linked with Barcelona in January but reports in Spain suggest he remains Barcelona is focused on signing Robert Lewandowski and he is their backup option.

The 29 year old Morata in his second spell in Juventus has scored 32 goals in 92 games. Morata's first spell with Juve was from 2014 to 2016. He scored 27 goals in 93 games and helped Juve to win back-to-back league and cup Doubles.

Morata returned to Real Madrid in 2016 and later joined Chelsea in 2017. He joined Atletico in 2018 with a loan deal that later become permanent.
