Sassuolo wants to keep Berardi but will listen to offers
The Italy international is under the radar of several top clubs.
With two years left on Berardi's contract with Neroverdi, Milan and Liverpool are among the clubs where rumors are circulating about his transfer. The 27-year-old star has scored 14 goals and provided 15 assists for his teammates this season, and has performed very well overall. He was also one of the best players in his side's 2-1 defeat to Juventus, and Giovanni Carnavali, Sassuolo chief executive wants to keep him, but he also listens to good offers.
He told Rai Sport:
"Domenico is an extraordinary player. For me, he is the Sassuolo champion, and you can see that when he is not there or leaves.
"He is the most complete player that Sassuolo has. We are happy to continue with Domenico, but if there are offers we have to carefully evaluate them.
"Before depriving ourselves of players we have to think about them, because our ambition is to always grow and have a competitive team."
