Jurgen Klopp outlines Naby Keita hope for Liverpool

Prior to their match against their Merseyside opponents, the German commented about the midfielder.

Naby Keita

of Guinea has been rated by

Liverpool

boss

Jurgen Klopp

as a wonderful player with a bright future. After battling injuries since arriving on Merseyside, Keita has recently established himself in Klopp's midfield and impressed in the Reds' 3-2 FA Cup semi-final victory against

Manchester City

.

"I don't like to talk about it because it's exactly the same expectation from my side," Klopp said, according to the club's portal. "It's the same situation, I don't like to talk about it because it's exactly the same expectation from my side, that I go outside and somebody tells me Naby can't play."

"However, when Naby was in shape and had a solid rhythm, he was always fantastic." Unfortunately, he has not been able to achieve the same level of rhythm that he, and we, had hoped for in the past. Maybe it's all over now [touches wood], and he'll have a good future. Wow, he's a fantastic player."

Thiago Alcantra

, Keita's midfield partner, was also lauded by the German coach, who explained why the two midfielders were signed. Klopp remarked, "Naby has been here for four years. Keita and Thiago were by far the top midfielders in the Bundesliga the previous season." As a result, we first took Naby and then Thiago. As a result, it was clearly a good concept."

Klopp discussed whether his players are enjoying the scenario as Liverpool attempts to win a quadruple championship. "It's a circumstance we didn't expect to be in, and it's the first time we've ever been in," he said. It's quite difficult; we play almost every day." But it's true: we adore our current arrangement.

"You can't plan on being in and around everything all the time." What we know is that nothing significant has been accomplished thus far, or that there hasn't been much. We won one competition, which is fantastic, but there are three more to go, the next of which is a crucial

Premier League

match." Yes, the lads are having a great time."

"I prefer to think we were in a good situation in these times because we have to prove it again on Sunday, regrettably." But it's going well so far, and we're looking forward to everything that's coming up." On Sunday, the Reds will face

Everton

.
