Capello says Mourinho is only focused on Inter, not Leicester City

José Mourinho, according to Fabio Capello, is not thinking about the Conference League semi-final against Leicester City and is just concerned about tomorrow's match against Inter Milan, which takes place in Milan.

For the second time this season, the Special One returns to the

Stadio Meazza

to face the Nerazzurri. In February, his first meeting with his former club in the Coppa Italia ended in a 2-0 defeat.

Things have changed dramatically since then, with

Roma

going undefeated in 12 Serie A games and qualifying for the Conference League semi-finals. The first leg is next week in England, and Capello believes Mourinho hasn't given it much thought yet.

"Mourinho will only think about Inter," the former England coach told

La Gazzetta dello Sport

. "After that, he'll concentrate on Leicester City." With only five games remaining, Roma is five points behind fourth-placed Juventus.

"It's too late to qualify for the Champions League," Capello continued, "but Mourinho will be eager to make a good impression at San Siro. The team is in good form, and even though

Nicolo Zaniolo

will not be present, the game will be very difficult for Inter. He's been dealing with injuries, and he needs to pay attention and look after himself." He's a powerful player, but he's also vulnerable."

Last week, the Italy starlet scored his first career hat-trick against

Bodo/Glimt

, but he was forced to withdraw due to an ankle injury. "Mourinho has won the hearts of Roma fans who have earned this joy," said Capello, a former Roma coach. "I enjoyed my five years in Rome, but it burns you out." There is no balance; it exalts you and then pulls you down."

Inter

, how about it? Is their victory over Milan on Tuesday a sign that they are the title favorites?

"Inter's 3-0 triumph advances them to the Coppa Italia Final, but it does not guarantee that they will win the Scudetto." The race is still open, and Inzaghi's team has regained confidence, but the outcome does not tell the whole story: Milan didn't deserve to lose."

"They had a lot of chances to score, but Inter showed that they had clear ideas and that they could play in a variety of ways. They know how to defend and counter-attack, and Inzaghi recognized the potential for his players to cause harm to their opponents."
