Philips decides to reject Man Utd offer for summer

The Leeds United star has no plans to leave the club at the moment.

Kalvin Phillips

intends to reject

Manchester United

's transfer offer for the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils want to strengthen the midfield and form a new team led by Eric Ten Hag to fight for big goals.

Paul Pogba

, whose contract expires at the end of the season, is expected to leave the club and Nemanja Matic wants to leave Old Trafford in the summer.

United are also planning to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, and Monaco star Aurelien Tchouameni is also on their list. Phillips is the other Red Devils target, but it is said that the English star has no plans to join Old Trafford.

The Sun claims that Phillips is committed to Leeds and intends to extend his contract with his boyhood club. He currently earns £38,000 a week and has not renewed his contract since Leeds returned to the Premier League. However, the club intends to significantly increase his salary and prevent his separation.

Liverpool and Aston Villa are also among the clubs monitoring Philips's condition.
