Tchouameni wants to move for next objective after first France goal

The French star was able to score his first international goal last night.

Aurelien Tchouameni

considers scoring the first goal for

France

a beautiful moment in his football career, but he intends to move towards the next goal.

After shining with

Monaco

in the 2020-21 season, Tchouameni was able to establish himself as an irreplaceable midfielder in his team and had exceptional stability. This good performance led Didier Deschamps to put him on the French squad last year Clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid show interest in signing him. Tchouameni scored his first national goal in Friday's game against Ivory Coast but wants to keep his feet on the ground.

"It's the fruit of my labour. I hope to remain calm. It's beautiful what's happening to me, but I have goals. Scoring my first goal was one, so now we move onto something else," Tchouameni told M6.

"The team and the staff really help me show my personality on the pitch and that's what makes me feel great on the pitch.

"In the first half, we attacked a lot and Ivory Coast had the opportunity to break through on the counter. We tightened the screws in the second half and I don't think we even conceded a single chance.

"At the end we were rewarded, and that's good."
