Bayern Munich’s Sule sustains hamstring injury

The Bayern Munich defender is going to be out of action as the club confirmed that he suffered a torn hamstring this week.

Niklas Sule

will be sidelined after

Bayern Munich

announced that his hamstring was torn in training on Wednesday.

The centre-back, who has been Julian Nagelsmann’s regular player this season as they fight for the title, will be sidelined for a period of time.

Reports claim that the defender, who has reached an agreement with

Borussia Dortmund

to join them when his deal runs out, will be out for three to four weeks.

"

Niklas Sule tore a muscle in his right rear thigh during training on Wednesday,"

read an official club statement.

"The 26-year-old FC Bayern centre-back is now facing a spell on the sidelines."

The 26-year-old will join Alphonso Davies on the injury list, but the latter came back to training this week.

Bayern will lock horns with Berlin on Saturday before the March international break arrives, while they will find out who their Champions League quarter-final rivals will be on Friday.
