Alexander Isak still sees it possible for himself to join Arsenal

Alexander Isak doesn’t rule out the possibility of his transfer to Arsenal in the summer.

The

Gunners

were looking to sign

Real Sociedad’s

striker

Alexander Isak

after failing to sign

Fiorentina’s

Dusan Vlahovic

, who decided to join

Juventus

instead of Arsenal, but Real Sociedad never accepted to negotiate the possibility of player’s move unless they paid his £76m release clause.

Now that the player’s move to the Premier League has been canceled, for the time being, Isak has been asked about the possibility of his transfer in the summer, insisting that he is focused on his game and his current club, but he doesn’t rule out any possibilities in the future.

"You can never be sure of anything,"

Isak said when asked about a potential departure.

"I always say that you never know what can happen in football, but at the end of the day, I'm here. I'm happy. That's it.

"I am at a good club, with ambitions. I live very well here, I am happy in the city and it's good for me to continue here, so for me, there is no problem.

"I am not talking about other clubs, I am a Real player, I work here and this is my club. My work is on the pitch, there are other people who work on the things behind the scenes."
