Dele Alli to Everton almost a done deal

Everton and Tottenham have reached an agreement on Dele Alli’s move.

The reports suggest that

Dele Alli’s

permanent move to

Everton

is almost a done deal as the clubs reach an agreement over the terms of the transfer, and the player will go through the medical tests soon.

After signing

Donny Van De Beek

,

Lampard

will have Dele Alli in his squad, making his midfield stronger than ever, and it can be a big opportunity for the England international to return to his form after a long period of struggling at

Tottenham

.

The reason why this transfer was on loan is that Everton couldn’t make loan moves anymore according to the Premier League rules, which limit the clubs to only two domestic loan moves, and the Toffees had already made use of their capability.

The 25-year-old midfielder is believed to be much admired by Frank Lampard, and after featuring in just six games under manager

Antonio Conte

, a transfer was expected.

Dele Alli made 269 appearances for Tottenham, scoring 67 goals, but he hasn’t been able to live up to the expectations in recent years and has made eight Premier League starts this season.
