Fred rules out his transfer talks

Fred insists that he is happy with the Red Devils and doesn’t want to leave the club.

Following

Manchester United’s

defeat against

Wolves

which was their first defeat since

Ralf Rangnick’s

arrival, there have been many speculations about

Fred’s

future at the club, and now the Brazilian midfielder has finally reacted to the transfer talks insisting that they are all fake news and that he is happy at the club and that he doesn’t want to leave Manchester United.

These speculations and conversations have suggested the same thing about 17 of the Red Devils’ players, and it has been frustrating to the Brazil international who is not accustomed to talking about the rumors.

He wrote on social media:

"Over the past few days I have read several fake news involving my name and other MUFC athletes. I'm not in the habit of answering controversial stuff publicly, but this time I will have to.

"I just want to say that I am very happy here and I have never expressed any dissatisfaction and the possibility of leaving the club. Don't get misled by fake news. We will continue to work with great dedication to pursue our goals."

The Red Devils are now sitting seventh in the Premier League and have lost six games so far, and in the FA Cup, they are going to face

Aston Villa

in the third round at Old Trafford.
