‘I’m very happy here’ – Hernandez does not want to leave Milan
Theo Hernandez has no doubt that he wants to stay at Milan and has no intention of leaving San Siro any time soon.
The 24-year-old French left-back has been linked with
Premier Leagueclub
Chelsea, but he is not considering a move away from Lombardy city for the time being.
Speaking to
DAZN
ahead of Milan’s clash against
Empoli,
Hernandezdiscussed his situation, saying:
‘I’m satisfied with my year, I’m very happy here. We play this match and then there is a week of rest.’
Hernandez also noted that he was not concerned about his lack of goals, highlighting that ‘I’m a full-back, not a striker. But I’m happy, I’m going to be a dad soon.’
Hernandez, 24, who is under contract with
Milanuntil 2024, has recently returned to the Rossoneri team after recovering from a fever. So far this season, the French fullback has appeared in 19 games across all competitions. During that period, he has scored one goal and five assists.
