Norwich is interested in hiring Dean Smith

Norwich City is looking to hire Dean Smith as the club’s new head coach.

Norwich City

was considering

Frank Lampard

and

Dean Smith

as the main targets to hire as the club’s new head coach, and now with Frank Lampard out of the picture, their first option is Dean Smith, and they are already in negotiations with his representative over a possible collaboration.

At first, it seemed like Chelsea’s former manager was the most serious candidate to take over at Norwich City, but after some negotiations, he claimed that the job doesn’t feel right at the moment and he wants to find his way elsewhere, which makes Dean Smith the first option for the Canaries.

The talks with the 50-year-old manager’s representative have been ongoing for several days as he is spending some time with his family in New York, but as they are going through the details of his contract with the club, he is said to be ready to return and sign the contract as soon as possible.

The reports suggest that the managerial board at Norwich City is impressed with the vision that Smith has for the future of the club, and they are looking forward to finalizing the deal with the experienced manager.
