Xavi aims to recall loanee Trincao in January

The new Blaugrana manager is eager to recover one of the club’s loan exiles.

Xavi Hernandez

has already started his hard work at

Barcelona

as he aims to turn things around amid their nightmare on and off the field.

Barcelona are sitting ninth on the La Liga table and the club’s new boss has his hands full, aiming to improve form after their disappointing 3-3 draw with Celta Vigo on the weekend.

Xavi is set to improve Blaugrana’s fortunes and he wants more options out wide.

With their financial crisis, it is hard to acquire any new players. Xavi, however, is eager to recover wide man

Francisco Trincao

, who is playing for

Wolves

on loan. He made the loan move in the summer for a fee of €6million in a contract that includes an option to buy.

The Portuguese played in nine games this season, being in the starting XI eight times in 11 matches in the Premier League and getting him back is not an easy task.

As per reports from

Marca

, Xavi will try to convince the club chiefs to try and offer a deal to get Trincao back in the winter transfer window, with a small compensation that has to be paid; they may also need to buy back the option to purchase clause.

Wolves, on the other hand, have the right to refuse any proposal and they are the ones that can control the player’s future as the loan deal includes no recall option.
