Alexis Saelemaekers extends with Milan until 2026
AC Milan have announced Belgium international Alexis Saelemaekers has extended his contract with the club until June 2026.
The 22-year-old arrived in
Milanin January 2020 on loan from
Anderlecht. Six months later, the Rossoneri made his contract permanent.
“I’m happy to have grown with this team,”
Saelemaekers
told the club’s official website
.
He has already made 64 official appearances for Milan, in which he scored four times and provided ten assists. He has made nine appearances this season and has provided two assists.
His previous deal was due to expire in June 2024, but Saelemaekers and Milan have reached an agreement to extend the deal for two more years.
“AC Milan are pleased to announce the renewal of Alexis Saelemaeker’s contract until June 30, 2026,”
the club wrote in a statement.
