Ibrahimovic returns to Milan training
The 40-year-old striker has returned to training with other players of the Milan squad and could play against Hellas Verona on the weekend.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
has only played 30 minutes this season as a substitute, still finding the back of the net in their 2-0 win over
Lazioon September 12.
He underwent knee surgery in the summer, which had him miss the Euro 2020 with Sweden, and hurt his Achilles tendon by coming back too soon.
The striker then decided to take it easy and return more gradually, which appears to be paying off, since
Sky Sport Italia
and
MilanNews.it
claims that Ibra has returned to training with the
Milansquad today.
Davide Calabria and Rade Krunic are also playing with their teammates. Ibrahimovic will be present for their clash against
Hellas Veronaon the weekend and he may even climb off the bench during the end.
