Mount comments on how he was convinced to get COVID-19 vaccine

Mason Mountsays his mandatory quarantine during Euro 2020 was an incentive to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
England are set to face Hungary on Tuesday night at Wembley Stadium as a part of their 2022 World Cup qualification run.
The game will take place at a time when the vaccination of professional footballers has been scrutinized in recent days. Vaccine statistics are scattered, and the Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate claims he is not sure how many of his players have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Most of the players decided not to speak publicly about it, but Mount announced that he had received both doses of the vaccine. The 22-year-old midfielder was not present in England's last match in the group stage of Euro 2020 and was on the bench during the victory against Germany in the last-16 round, however, he didn’t get the chance to play as had previously contracted the coronavirus and was in quarantine.
"Going through that experience, missing the game, a top, top game kind of did have an effect on my decision,"
Mount said.
"But I think for players, personally it's down to someone and it is down to their decision how they feel about it.
"I don't think you can force anyone to get it but, for me, going through that experience, it did make me want to get it and get it quite quickly."
