Man Utd defender to be sentenced for driving violations

Driving violations have caused trouble for the Manchester United defender.

Manchester United

defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka will go on trial for driving violations.

The 23-year-old defender was stopped by police last month after pleading guilty in September for driving without a license and without insurance. However, he currently has a temporary driver's premit until the trial. His lawyer told the Manchester Magistrates court that when he was stopped by police, he did not know he was banned from driving.

A few days earlier, a Leeds court had banned him from driving for six months for speeding. His lawyer claims the letter was sent to an old address in London. Wan-Bissaka lived in this house while playing for Crystal Palace and left for Manchester United in July 2019 for 45 million pounds.

Therefore, the judge has set September 20 for his trial, in which he must explain to the judge about his driving violations. He should then be sentenced for driving while being banned.
