Dortmund in talks with Chelsea over loan deal for Hudson-Odoi
The English winger has been an unused substitute in Chelsea’s league matches so far.
Since signing his first professional contract at Stamford Bridge in 2019,
Callum Hudson-Odoihas struggled to establish himself as a regular first-team player for Chelsea. The English winger has not been given any game time in Chelsea’s opening three league matches of the season, with reports claiming he might leave the club before the end of the current transfer window.
According to
Sky Sports, Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Hudson-Odoi on a loan deal. The 20-year-old is reportedly keen to leave the Blues as he wants to get regular game time in the new season. Chelsea are yet to make a decision about the move as they are busy working on Jules Kounde’s
movefrom Sevilla.
Dortmund’s Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for Hudson-Odoi in recent seasons. The Bavarians made several bids for the player, but they ultimately decided to sign Leroy Sane from Manchester City.
