Kurt Zouma undergone medical at West Ham
Zouma's transfer to West Ham looks set to be finalized soon.
defender Kurt Zouma, who is on the verge of joining West Ham, has undergone medical tests at the club.
West Ham made a great effort to sign the French defender, but a personal agreement with him and how to pay Chelsea were the obstacles that stood in the way of the club. The two sides negotiated and finally agreed on £25million. Zuma has yet to feature for Chelsea this season, so his departure from the Blues seemed certain.
He was David Moyes first choice to bolster his defense in the summer, but the Hammers had previously tried to sign Nikola Milenkovic of Fiorentina and Duje Caleta-Car of Marseille.
The 26-year-old defender joined Chelsea from Saint-Etienne in January 2014. He scored five goals last season and was one of Frank Lampard's favorite, but became a bench player after the arrival of Thomas Tuchel. Now, if he passes West Ham medical tests, his transfer to London Stadium will be finalized.
