Juventus might face competition with Tottenham over Nikola Milenkovic

Juventus might face competition from Tottenham over Nikola Milenkovic, who has reached the last year of his contract at Fiorentina. However, it seems the Old Lady have to also compete with his current club as the Viola are also trying to keep him at the Artemio Franchi.

Fiorentina

are trying to keep their defender

Nikola Milenkovic

at the Artemio Franchi, as

Juventus

have shown interest in the 23-year-old, according to La Nazione.

However, it seems the Old Lady are not the only club who are interested in the Serbian defender as

Tottenham

also intend to sign him if they can not reach an agreement with Cristian Romero.

The report suggests that the Spurs believe Milenkovic is a perfect fit if their deal with Romero falls through.

Milenkovic has reached the last year of his contract at Fiorentina. He signed a five-year deal with the Viola in 2017 and moved from FK Partizan in July 2017.

The Viola prefer to extend his contract, however, if they can not reach an agreement the club then need to cash in this summer in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.

Milenkovic, capped 28 times by Serbia, has made 133 appearances for the Viola through which he has been able to score 11 goals.
