Reyna given the No.7 shirt after Sancho's departure
The American star will wear Sancho's shirt from next season.
Borussia Dortmund American star Giovanni Reyna received the team's No. 7 shirt after the departure of Jadon Sancho.
With 90 million euros, Sancho left Dortmund for Old Trafford, ending his four-year stint in the Bundesliga. Dortmund bought Donyell Malen from PSV to replace Sancho and gave him the number 21 shirt, and from next season, the young midfielder of the team, Reyna, will wear the number 7 shirt.
Dortmund showed this by posting a photo on Instagram showing him in the No. 7 team jersey.
Reyna joined Dortmund from New York City FC's Academy in 2019 and became the youngest American player to play in the Bundesliga. He played a total of 64 games for Dortmund, scoring eight goals and assisting nine.
