Diego Godin linked with Besiktas move
The Atletico Madrid legend has been linked with a move away from Cagliari in recent weeks.
Having left Atletico Madrid after nine years,
Diego Godinjoined Inter in 2019. After spending 12 months with the Nerazzurri, the Uruguayan defender decided to move to
Cagliariin September 2020. The 35-year-old featured in 28 matches for Cagliari as they finished 16th in Serie A. The experienced midfielder is a key player for the Isolani, but he might leave the club before the next season.

Besiktas
are interested in signing Godin ahead of the next season. The Turkish Super Lig side are planning to start the negotiations with Cagliari, while the personal terms are yet to be agreed with the Uruguayan star. The former Atletico Madrid defender might agree to lower his €3m annual salary to secure a transfer to Besiktas as he is keen to have a final dance in the Champions League next season.
