West Ham’s Felipe Anderson returns to Lazio

Lazio and West Ham have reportedly agreed terms over a move for the Brazil international.

Felipe Anderson

will rejoin

Lazio

before the start of the 2021-22 season to work with Maurizio Sarri.

According to

Sky Sport Italia

, Lazio agreed terms with the Hammers over signing the Brazilian on a €3m transfer, an amount that Lazio will not pay as it is the same as the remaining payment never received after he moved to London in July 2018.

If the player is sold in the future,

West Ham

will receive 50 percent of it.

Gianluca Di Mazio

suggests that the two sides have closed the deal and the 28-year-old will feature for the Biancocelesti again next season.

The Brazilian winger was on a loan spell at FC Porto last season but will go back to the club where he had his breakthrough in European football.

When he was last playing in Rome, he met the back of the net 34 times and contributed 39 assists in 177 matches. Anderson first joined from Santos in 2013 on a deal worth €7.5m. He then moved to the Irons five years later on a €38m transfer fee.
