Crystal Palace announce Patrick Vieira as new manager
The Arsenal legend has agreed to a three-year deal with the Eagles.

Nice, will continue his managerial career at the Selhurst Park Stadium, where he will succeed Roy Hodgson.
“I am really excited to have this opportunity to return to the Premier League, and manage this great football club, as we begin a new chapter together,"
Vieira told the club's official
website.
“It is a project that is really appealing to me, having spoken a lot with the chairman and sporting director about their ambition and plans for the whole club, including the academy.
"The club has fantastic foundations in place after many years in the Premier League, and I hope we can make further improvements and continue to drive the club forward.”
Vieira began his coaching career with
New York City FCin 2016. The Frenchman stayed for two years at the Major League Soccer team while they appeared in back-to-back MLS quarter-finals. The former France international went back to his country in 2018 and took charge at Nice. However, he was sacked two years later due to his side’s five consecutive losses and their exit from the Europa League. It remains to be seen whether the Frenchman can survive his first spell in charge of a Premier League club.
