Ramos’ move to PSG’s ‘not done yet’

After so many speculations about Real Madrid’s captain’s future after he decided to leave the club as a free agent, it was reported that the Spaniard will be joining the Parisians in a few days as his medicals were reportedly scheduled.

Contrary to reports

, according to

L’Equipe and Mundo Deportivo

, a total agreement between the two parties is yet to be reached as Sergio Ramos’ mooted move to Paris Saint-Germain still isn’t completely done yet.

According to the reports, a meeting between

Rene Ramos

, Sergio’s brother and agent, and the Parisians’ board is has been held on Thursday. Despite the positivity of talks, two hurdles in the transfer deal must be cleared, the duration and size of the contract.

The Parisians have offered

Ramos

a one-year contract with the option of a further year extension. However, the former Los Blancos’ skipper demands a €12m per season.

After

16 seasons

at the Santiago Bernabeu, an era in which he won 22 titles, the 35-year-old left the club he joined from

Sevilla

in 2005. The key pull factor for the French side is the fact that the centre-back has lifted four Champions Leagues titles with Real Madrid, the trophy that PSG desire above all else.
