Italian coach Claudio Ranieri praised

Belgium

and spoke about the team's strengths before the crucial match against Italy in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.

Italy

has established itself as one of the contenders for the Euro 2020 championship and has a high chance. They have to face Belgium and the Red Devils are also among the contenders for the title. Now Ranieri praised the Belgian team and pointed out their strengths.

Ranieri told La Gazzetta dello Sport

: “The most open game of the last eight is ours, Belgium vs. Italy. The No. 1 in the FIFA ranking against the team that showed the best football at this European Championship.

“Against Austria, Italy found themselves in difficulty, but were able to react. These are growth processes that help a group improve.

“Belgium have their strength in their compactness. The defenders are not fast and [CT Roberto] Martinez has tightened the lines.

“Then there are the arms, the mind and I’ll add the poetry. [Kevin] de Bruyne is the mind. [Romelu] Lukaku, who is playing a splendid European, is the arm. The poetry is [Eden] Hazard.

“A champion and a golden boy, whom I am particularly attached to for that goal he scored at Tottenham five years ago, allowing my Leicester to become the English champions.”
