Benfica formally enquired about Liverpool’s £12m-rated winger

On the back of consecutive loan spells at Hull City, Derby, Bournemouth, and Cardiff, Harry Wilson is reportedly eager to secure a move away from Anfield this summer with Benfica, West Brom, and Brentford also keen on the £12m-rated winger.

According to

Goal

, Benfica have formally approached Liverpool for their 24-year-old winger,

Harry Wilson

.

Unlikely to meet Liverpool's £12 million asking price for a player who has made just two competitive appearances for the Reds, the outlet reports that the two sides,

Liverpool

and

Benfica

, are a long way apart in their respective valuations, and that is leaving the door open for others to make a move, especially English clubs.

According to the outlet, the Welshman has emerged as a target for

Brentford

,

West Brom

, and

Fulham

.

Brentford

wants to add some quality players to a squad that secured a Premier League promotion for the club for a long time, while

Fulham

and

West Brom

are eager to bounce back as quickly as possible after suffering relegation in 2020-21.

In addition to Wilson, the Reds are ready to cash in for their Serbian midfielder,

Marko Grujic

, who spent last season on loan at

Porto

. The Portuguese outfit are keen on doing another deal with the reds, while several Bundesliga clubs are also reportedly interested in the Serbia international’s signature.

However, Liverpool favors a permanent transfer for both of the players this summer.
