Florenzi-Szczesny swap deal the key to sign Donnarumma

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are willing to offer Wojciech Szczesny to Roma in exchange for Alessandro Florenzi, this could make room to sign former Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Juventus

want to secure

Gigio Donnarumma

’s signature, but they face competition with other clubs in Europe.

Paris Saint-Germain

and

Barcelona

are said to be interested in Italy international goalkeeper, while in Italy

Roma

did some survey thanks to a call

Mourinho

to the goalkeeper.

However, the Bianconeri still have

Szczesny

to defend the team's goalposts and they must free themselves from him to make room for the now-former Milan stopper.

That is proving very difficult, as there aren’t many clubs interested in his current salary.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper is also locked down to a contract until June 2024.

According to Tuttosport, a possible solution would be for Juve to offer Szczesny to Roma – the club he used to play in between 2015 and 17 on loan from

Arsenal

– in exchange for Alessandro Florenzi.

That would solve Roma’s search for a reliable goalkeeper under new coach Jose Mourinho and allow Florenzi to work with

Max Allegri

in Turin after his loans at Valencia and PSG.

Above all, shifting Szczesny would then free up the Bianconeri to bring in Donnarumma.
