Kante and Mendy hand Chelsea huge fitness boost ahead of UCL final
Chelsea have been handed a massive boost ahead of the Champions League final after N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy both returned to training on Wednesday.

's side head to Portugal and Porto on Saturday 29 May to face
Manchester Cityin the all-English final.
The Blues had been sweating over the availability of duo
Mendy
and
Kante
after they had picked up recent injuries.
Kante missed the weekend defeat to
Aston Villadue to a hamstring injury sustained in the victory against
Leicester City. The 30-year-old was brought off in the first half of the victory over the Foxes, although Thomas Tuchel did stress the injury wasn't serious.
Mendy was substituted at halftime of Sunday's loss at Villa Park. The Senegal international injured his ribs on the frame of the goal while attempting to deny Bertrand Traore's 43rd-minute opener.
But they have handed Thomas Tuchel’s side a huge fitness boost ahead of the Champions League final against domestic rivals Manchester City.
