Everton joins the race for Leipzig’s striker Hwang

Everton has joined other Premier League clubs who have interest in signing Hwang Hee-chan.

RB Leipzig’s

Korean forward has impressed many clubs, including several Premier League sides, and now Everton has joined the race for signing Hwang Hee-chan, according to the reports.

The 25-year-old joined RB Leipzig in the last summer’s transfer window from Red Bull Salzburg and has not been showing the quality that was expected from him, but a transfer to Premier League can help him get his form back.

Goal has claimed that Everton is another club from England looking to sign the Korean player in the upcoming transfer market despite their failed attempt in January when Leipzig didn’t agree with the Toffees offer.

Now the Korean forward has to decide between a switch to Premier League or waiting to reunite with his former manager Jesse Marsch, who is going to replace the club’s current coach at the end of the season.

Considering his stats which contain two goals scored in 21 appearances in the current campaign, a move will the most probable option for the Korean forward even with the possibility of reuniting with his former boss.

Hwang Hee-chan

scored 16 goals and assisted 22 in 40 appearances during his time under the American head coach at Red Bull Salzburg, and we have to wait and see what happens at the end of the season when all the changes happen.
