Lippi might replace Agnelli

Marcello Lippi has been mentioned as a replacement for Andrea Agnelli.

La Gazzetta dello Sport believes the breakaway project has undermined the relations of

Juventus

with the institutions such as FIFA, UEFA, and Lega Serie A.

According to the newspaper, chief of Exor and Juventus stakeholder

John Elkaan

will have to decide on what he is going to do in the near future particularly about the position of patron

Andrea Agnelli

.

If Agnelli stepped down from his role, the current Vice-President of Exor

Alessandro Nasi

could replace him.

Evelina Christillin was just re-elected to the FIFA Council and therefore is a perfect figure for dialogue with the international institutions.

However, there is also another scenario with a President of football extraction like former Italy and Juventus coach

Marcello Lippi

.

It seems Agnelli will remain President of Juventus for now and the issue is going to be addressed from May and onwards.
