Chelsea and Tottenham interested in signing Menino

has attracted the attention of many European clubs with his impressive performance.

Chelsea

Tottenham

have been reported as two of the competitors in the race for signing the young Brazilian midfielder.

Juventus

and

Atletico Madrid

have also shown interest in the 20-year-old midfielder proving the young player’s potential and quality.

Gabriel Menino made his first appearance for Palmeiras in January 2020 after spending some time in the youth ranks. He has scored four goals and assisted seven since his debut in the domestic competition.

He has played for his national team too in the 2019 South American U-20 Championship before joining the senior team last year, and the big clubs’ interest in him start to rise.

The Blues have been watching Menino’s progress for a while and have made connections with the player earlier this year, but there are other teams involved.

Tottenham may be the hardest competition for the Blues as they seek to add young talents to their squad and a midfielder with the capability of playing at the right-back position seems to a good option for them to spend money.

And Palmeiras will look for the best offer considering the player’s contract which runs for three years so it will be a tough competition between all the interested clubs.
