Roy Hodgson: Zaha knows where he wants to be

The Eagles boss hopes his side will benefit from the presence of the experienced winger in their upcoming matches.

Having left

Manchester United

after an unsuccessful spell,

Wilfried Zaha

joined

Crystal Palace

in 2014. The Ivorian winger has established himself as a key player for the Eagles in recent seasons. He has featured in 21 league matches for Roy Hodgson's team in their current campaign, scoring nine goals and providing two assists. The 28-year-old has been recently linked with a move away from Selhurst Park Stadium, but

Roy Hodgson

says it’s too early to speculate about the winger’s future.

“He’s been very good.

“He’s missed more games through injury than in previous years which is a blow for us, but we’re hoping to keep him fit for the next nine.”

Borussia Dortmund

and

Monaco

are reportedly interested in signing the Ivorian.

“He seems to be pretty much clear at the moment as to what he wants to do and where he wants to be. We’re hoping to benefit from that in the next nine games.

“At the end of the season, we’ll see what happens then.”

Crystal Palace will play against

Everton

in their next Premier League match on Monday.
