Cuadrado: ‘Juventus have to start winning all the games that are left’

Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado has taken advantage of the international break and has done extra training to be ready for the game against Torino this weekend.

The World Cup qualifiers are taking place all over Europe but the action in South America was postponed due to COVID restrictions, giving players like Colombia international Cuadrado a rare rest.

“We made the most of the break for international duty by getting a lot of hard physical work done,”

Cuadrado

told Sky Sport Italia

.

“We hadn’t managed to do that for a long time. We put a lot of gas in the tank so we can end the season well. I feel great physically and this break really helped so much.

“It’s always difficult when traveling and playing every three days, especially with the time zones and jet lag. Now we feel more relaxed.”

Juventus

need to bounce back from their shock 1-0 home defeat to

Benevento

.

“It was a difficult result to swallow. We know how important it was to get a result, yet we didn’t do it. Now there’s the Derby della Mole, we spent so much time preparing for this game and we have to win.

“The same goes for the next fixture with Napoli (on April 7). We have to go out there and start winning all the games that are left.”
