Liverpool will retry signing Nabil Fekir

The Reds have shown interest in signing Fekir after a failed attempt in 2018.

again following a failed attempt in 2018 when they made a big offer for the player who was playing for Lyon at the time.

Estadio Deportivo

claims that Inter Milan and Rennes have shown interest in signing Fekir, as Real Betis seems to be considering selling the French international to reduce the expenses.

Jurgen Klopp has been an admirer of the player for years, and this can be a good chance for the Reds and the player, who has been waiting to regain his form after leaving Lyon in July 2019 with a €19.75 million offer from Real Betis.

Multiple injuries have made the situation harder for Fekir, who has been struggling to regain his form after joining the Spanish side alongside his brother, who has not played for Real Betis since his arrival.

The French striker has scored ten goals in 63 appearances for Real Betis, but some rumors say his history of injuries that canceled his transfer to Liverpool is the main reason behind his poor performance.

His worst injury was when he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in international duty; that could have been the reason why Liverpool refused to make further efforts in signing him back in 2018.
