Guinea coach spoke about negotiation with Liverpool over Keita

Keita will play in one of the two games of the Guinean national team.

Guinea

coach Didier Six spoke about the details of his negotiations with

Liverpool

, after the club agreed to release Naby Keita for one of the two African Cup of Nations matches.

Guinea captain Keita will leave Liverpool to play his side against Mali in Conakry on March 24, a match that is important given that Guinea is second with two points behind leaders Mali.

However, according to the agreement reached with Liverpool, the 26-year-old midfielder will return to Merseyside and will miss his team's second game against Namibia so that he will not have any problems with the quarantine of Coronavirus.

Six told AFP:

"We negotiated with Liverpool, which is one of the biggest clubs in the world, to have Naby Keita for the first game."

"After that we put him on the plane immediately and he will be available for the [Premier League] restart after seven days in isolation, during which time he can train.

"I made a proposal to the clubs so that we could be as strong as possible for the first match.

"It takes diplomacy, there's no point in yelling."
