Shevchenko: ‘It’s nice to see Milan are back’

Former AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko has heaped praise on two of his former teammates at San Siro and is happy to see the Rossoneri back in Europe.

“Paolo is doing an excellent job, like everyone at Milan. There is a nice project and they are united. I had no doubts results would come. Milan must keep their ambitions,”

Shevchenko said

“I was not surprised by Milan’s game in Manchester and neither am I for what they are doing in Italy.

“There are good chances for them to qualify for the next round in Europa League. They seem humble and prepared.

“It’s impossible to predict the future, but Milan played keeping their heads high. They were praised by the English media, which is not easy. Everyone expects this attitude and this personality in Europe. It’s nice to see Milan are back.”
