won’t deny I suffered at being cast out from the top flight, so I thank Crotone for this opportunity. This is a team that has a lot of quality and Giovanni Stroppa deserves credit for putting the side together. After all, I’ve only been here for six days, so there’s only so much I could’ve done to affect things. I still have time to do damage!

“Adam Ounas is fantastic, although I did feel like killing him when he was one-on-one, because there you either score a goal or pass it to your teammate.
“Simy scored two goals, he has his very own special physicality and way of holding the ball. He’s got these very long legs and large feet, so at times he can look uncoordinated, but he’s scored 10 goals and that means he’s got some skills.
“Junior Messias is the great discovery of this Crotone side, as they discovered him and it’s extraordinary that he went this far without being scouted.”
