Manchester City are monitoring Danny Ings and Romelu Lukaku

The City is looking for a replacement for Sergio Aguero, leaving the club this summer.

Manchester City

are considering

Romelu Lukaku

and

Danny Ing

as a potential replacement for

Sergio Aguero

.

Aguero's contract expires this summer and he is expected to leave Etihad stadium after 10 years of service.

With 256 goals in 379 games in all competitions, he is the top scorer in City history.

However, the Argentina international has been a peripheral figure this season and has only had two starts in the

Premier League

.

PSG

and

Barcelona

are both linked with a move for Aguero, who has been a free agent since January 1.

Even if Aguero extends his contract for a short time, City will still be looking for a long-term replacement for him.

According to reports, Danny Ings and Romelu Lukaku are the two strikers that City are monitoring.

Lukaku has been successful at inter since moving from

Manchester United

to San Siro in 2019.

He has scored 54 times in 78 games for

Antonio Conte

's side.

Manchester City hope to temp Lukaku to move to Manchester, but reports suggest that PSG are also interested in the 27-year-old.

Pep Guardiola

's side-eyes are also on Ings, who will

Southampton

this summer.

They have not made significant progress in signing a new contract with Ings, as his current contract runs until 2022.

The 28-year-old has also been linked with a move for

Tottenham

in recent weeks.

City could offer to send some of their fringe players to Southampton in a bid to secure Ings' signature ahead of next term.
