Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo says Diego Maradona is an unceasing virtuoso: 'Today I say goodbye to a friend.'
The Portuguese striker responded to
Maradona
's demise with a message via web-based media.
The Napoli and Argentina icon endured a heart failure and passed on today at matured 60.
“Today I say goodbye to a friend and the world says goodbye to an eternal genius,” Ronaldo wrote on Twitter.
“One of the best of all time. An unrivalled magician. You leave too soon, but you leave a boundless legacy and a void that will never be filled. Rest in peace, ace. You will never be forgotten.”
