Klopp excited to visit San Siro for the first time

Liverpool boss has talked about their UCL match against Milan at San Siro.

Ahead of

Liverpool’s

Champions League clash against

Milan

at San Siro, the Reds’ boss has talked about his enthusiasm about visiting San Siro for the first time in his life, insisting that it is an exceptional stadium.

“I am 54 years old it’s my first time at San Siro, it’s a real shame I waited this long. I played Napoli, Juve a couple of times, Roma, but never here. It is a really exceptional stadium,”

Klopp told Sky Sport Italia

.

He has also praised the Rossoneri’s high-profile striker

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

, claiming that the Swedish guy is a legend already with a special character.

“Ibrahimovic is a legend, you usually become a legend when you retire, but he is already a legend and still playing at 40! He’s a proper character, he has his opinion on things and isn’t interested in what other people think. I like that. I hope I won’t like his next 90 minutes!”

And about his squad,

Klopp

says that since they have five games in 14 days, they have to rotate their squad to keep them in form.

“We have five games in 14 days, so we had to rotate the squad, especially in the build-up to Christmas. Some of them were not in good shape and couldn’t play tonight anyway, while we also needed fresh legs.

“We want to bring players who are hungry and eager to prove themselves.”
